Reed and Sasha meet hard, when the Las Vegas hotel elevator in which they are riding takes a short plummet before the brakes stop it. Sasha is undone as he's afraid of heights to begin with. Reed has been eyeing the handsome stranger and eagerly takes the opportunity to comfort him. During their short time held captive in the elevator, Reed reveals that he is a musician and Sasha reveals that he is a professional escort. Once released, they decide to act on their instant attraction and head to Reed's room for sex. The rest of the storyline is about their attempts to ascertain if a relationship is possible between them.The story is short, but well-written and compelling. I always find myself wishing I knew more about the characters in any short story and Going Down is no exception as I'd love to know how Sasha ended up as a professional escort.
